So glad to hear that you're on the mend, Kjeld! I hope your recovery is swift. I'm glad you had Nurse Fox to look after you - she's beautiful as well as being a lifesaver. Cats are the best. Take care, both of you.
So relieved to hear of your recovery! What a scary experience for you and for Fox. I love the fierce photo of her, she looks like she’s ready for anything! Please take care of yourself and give her a pat from me.
Thank you, Maya. I still have a ways to go for full recovery, but it is wonderful to be back at work! Fox does have a fierce expression doesn't she—you can imagine what she must have looked like that Sunday when she decided to protect me. Fox asks me to give you a pat, too 😉
I am so glad to hear you have managed through all of that harrowing experience! Fox is a treasure, standing by your side. I know she has been a great support. Take good care of yourself. 無理しないで、お大事にしてください。
Thank you, Akira. I was actually also moved to tears. Somehow my neighbor found out I was taken to hospital by ambulance again and she even figured out which hospital. Just as I came out of the ER after hours of tests, she walked in. She originally rescued Fox, so the first thing I wanted to tell her was what Fox had done to protect me. I couldn't. I just started crying.
How terrifying -- crawling on all fours to unlock the doors and all the other details, but the details about your heroic cat are truly heartwarming. Please be careful not to overdo things as you recover.
So glad you're on the mend and that your wonderful cat guarded you so carefully. Happy for you to take as long as you need to recover, rest is the best way to heal from the ravages of covid.
Yes, it was quite a scare as I didn't know what I had and what it could do to me. Cats pay so much attention, don't they! We can learn much from them, as well as from other animals.
Oh my goodness! What a terrible adventure! We are all very grateful that you’ve recovered but I guess you’re stil not out of the woods yet. Please take extra good care of yourself and Fox.
Thank you, Kristin. Both 🦊 and I, as well as my friends, had quite a scare. Now I know that atrial fibrillation is rarely life threatening, but I didn't know that at the time. I didn't even know what was happening to me. 🦊 gets lots of extra pets and love these days, and the rest of her life!
Covid has lots of repercussions. We all have to be careful. Fox is truly a special friend and guardian for you. I’m sorry I can’t afford to contribute more financially, but I’m doing my best to spread the word about your important research. I want to say Get Well Soon, but take as long as you need.
Kjed, Not going to lie: I came here for Fox the sphinx-like cat. Thanks for sharing.
Fox 🦊 gives her regards!

Thank you, Louise. I am blessed to have 🦊 at my side. Every day before I go to bed I thank her and she gets countless minutes of pets.
I was moved to tears by Fox-san's reliable figure and her deeds. Please take care of yourself.

Thank you, Kate. Our furry family members can truly astound us.
By the way, I was so saddened to read about Carrot crossing the rainbow. At least she felt safe in her final days.

Thank you, Rebecca. Every day I feel a lilt bit better. I already recovered most of the weight I lost, which is not something I desired to do… 😅
My god, what a harrowing experience. I'm not surprised by your cat's behavior. They are so attuned to us!

So glad you are back at home and recovering. Please take it easy. Your cat really is a hero! Cheers, Colleen
Thank you, Colleen! Yes, 🦊 is a hero. But she won't let it go to her head ❤️

Covid is a very nasty little fella. I have gone back to wearing masks in places with lots of people—once is more than enough!
Thank you for your kind words, Glennis. Don't worry about it, I understand your financial situation. Spreading the word has just as much impact! ❤️
Welcome back and give Fox a hug from all your readers!
Thank you, Glennis. I will give 🦊 a 🐻 hug!
